Three things it promises

Works in flight mode.

Search, the phrasebook, the menu glossary and your saved trips work with no signal. Directions and bookings open other apps, which need a connection.

The phrasebook: Buongiorno, Buonasera, Per favore and Grazie, each with its meaning and buttons to show or copy it. The phrasebook: Buongiorno, Buonasera, Per favore and Grazie, each with its meaning and buttons to show or copy it.

Nothing to sign up for, no analytics and no ads. Your trips, saved places and check-ins stay on your phone.

Every fact has a source.

Emergency numbers, holidays, ferry piers and rail lines were checked against a named source. Where nothing could be confirmed, the app says nothing. See the sources.

Five regions, 76 towns

Each town is checked before it goes in: its sights, how you can arrive, and a photo whose licence allows it. More regions follow as their sources are verified.
